I used to be a dedicated Samsung Galaxy fan until I discovered I could have virtually all the same functions on a phone that cost half as much! This is my third one (having washed one and lost the next). I love that it is free of bloatware and easy to set up. Good sound, bright screen. Haven’t used the camera yet (I’m not much of a photographer). Get one of these and save some money!

The phone is pretty good for the price. The screen has good viewing angles and is a good size. Having stock android is also a plus. There’s not a lot of uninstallable apps slowing it down.

Easy set-up. Stock Android 11 included is an AWESOME feature.Cool Apps like Zello pre-loadedBattery charges fast!Great camera features and excellent photo qualityTemperature App works well – just needed a hallway to calibrate and it took a couple of tries.Cool clear case and screen protector included – I’ve always had to buy these separately.Cool programmable button offers interesting possibilities.

Very happy with this product. It has the functions of some very expensive, talking about thousand-dollar phones, but for a fraction of the price. Very good picture/photo quality. I used the phone the whole day for including maps, apps, movies, and the battery last the whole entire day. The phone has fingerprint readers, facial recognition, and more. It does not have a lot of junk apps pre-installed like other big-name brands. There are lots of features to play with. I love this phone. It comes truly 100% unlocked. I purchased a $15 a month Mint Mobile, which is actually T-Mobile, and it works perfectly fine. This is a business phone for me and it is the best phone purchase ever.

This phone packs quite a punch for the price. Surprisingly feature-rich for a phone at an entry level price.Dual-SIM capability is great for people like me who have need for two lines. Broad 4G frequency coverage means good compatibility from one carrier to the next – works with most GSM-based carriers (such as AT&T, T-Mobile) but not with Verizon, and, surprisingly, Cricket. Has VoLTE capability, ensuring compatibility with networks that require it. Excellent storage capacity (64B), decent – but not exceptional – camera. Long battery life. And stock, unaltered Android 11, without the bloatware that many manufacturers stuff into their phones.I found that adding a 3rd party launcher (such as Pie Launcher) from Google Play easily adds much needed functionality to the basic Android launcher, but other than that, this has been a good phone. Excellent value for the price.

The umidigi A9 is a battery champ phone with good features for the price. I’ve had a great time with it so far, it lasts me a good day and a half or so depending on use. The no frills stock android experience is great, and I hope more companies provide it as an option. The phone runs well and does everything I need so far, with the biggest being pokemon GO. Which it handles with no issue . The reception and bands are great, which was a concern for buying a global phone, but there have been no issues with reception signal or location. One of the big features touted on this is the thermometer and it works, it seems to be accurate, with only a traditional under tongue thermometer to compare to.The cameras are good as well, but I haven’t had a lot of opportunities to really put it through it’s paces. In general if you’re looking for a cheap phone that does everything reasonably well, or a backup, I believe this is a great choice

Everything here is great, it’s a great all around device that I highly recommend!!! That being said, I reeeeeeeeally hate not having an app drawer, like fine, disable it but at least give me a setting to bring it back. The device is solid, bright and feels great to hold. It comes with a screen protector (my note 20 ultra from Samsung that costed 1200 more did not) it has a headphone jack (which was also missing on my note). It has features that I only wish more flagship had, and as far as apps go, I only have one “bloat” app (zello) and I am ecstatic about that. It has been a long time sense I have had a stock android experience (except that damn app drawer). If you get this device, you will have made a great purchase!!

I purchased this as a backup phone to be used on the Ting Mobile network (T-Mobile – GSM, Sprint-CDMA, and Verizon-CDMA while roaming). Battery life is as good as my Moto G Power 2021. Photos are sharp, even though it’s only 13 MP. The cool thing about the phone is that it came with a transparent case and tempered glass screen protector already installed! Fast, Android 11, decent size, long batter life – as good as my primary for less than $150.

This phone is a budget tier phone – its extremely cheep, and has no blatant issues. Don’t expect it to be a flagship quality phone, and you wont be disappointed.I’ve bought numerous Umidigi products in the past, and some models and devises have big issues, but that doesn’t seem to be the case with this phone. The overall build quality is very good. The back is made out of plastic, but its a high quality clastic, and its textured and shaped in a way that makes the phone easy to hold. The texture on the plastic really is very nice. The volume, power, and programable button all have a nice click to them, and overall the phone’s build quality is excellent. Considering the side of the battery in the phone, the phone is quite thin and light (at least in comparison to other phones with similar sized screens and batteries. The phone comes with a preinstalled plastic screen protector – i would recommend upgrading to a glass one. It also comes with a clear plastic case but the case is not good: it feels slippery and cheep. The screen is not super high resolution, or super bright – it pretty average, but has no big issues. This phone is an Android 11 phone, but it does not appear to be a stock variant of Android. There are only 2 preinstalled bloat apps. The first is the thermometer app, and the second is a walky-talky app (I managed to uninstall the walky-talky app). While there is no bloatware, there are also missing features in the software. The settings menu is missing numerous settings which should be there, such as the option to enable an app drawer, gesture controls, etc. The phone also came with settings developer mode per-enabled. While it is not missing any essential functions, it is a super weird version of android. It does come with the Play Store, and Google apps. The programable button does not really have any functionality beyond opening apps. While the fingerprint reader is not very quick, it does seem to be pretty reliable. The battery life is okay, but not quite as good as the size of the battery would suggest. That said you should be able to get through a full day with moderate use, and it charges pretty quick (10w)The CPU is pretty slow, i wouldn’t guess this phone would run games or other CPU intensive apps well. It also only has 3G of ram, so opening apps is kind of slow too. This is about wat you expect from a phone in this segment, and it doesn’t really bother me much. The phone’s connectivity is good – GPS, WIFI, and Bluetooth, seem to work fine. In order to connect to 4G you might have to work with your service provider. The phone probably wont get 4G till you link your IMEI and your ICCID. I completed this process by calling my provider’s customer service line, but you can also theoretically do it through your provider’s website. This is a process that you have to preform anytime you are using a phone that your provider does not specifically support or sell.tldr: its a budget phone, its got good build quality and no blatant issues, although the version of android is weird.

So far the phone seems to work well with the internet apps that I am using. Video looks great on the screen. Battery life has been good.Apps have been very responsive.CAUTION: This phone does not work on cricket. Put my sim in and they instantly suspended my account. Had to call customer care to reactivate it. Checked with Metro PCS and it is compatible. Keeping the phone and switching carriers.Once I can use the phone features I will update my review.
