I purchased this to use as a hub/dock for my gaming laptop. I need an high speed external hard drive and this seems to fill the bill. I did need to purchase a extra power supply as this did not come with one. It can take a max 20 amp, 5 volt power supply and that is what I found. With that in hand by high speed external drive worked as advertised. I cannot complain. It also comes with a SD and micro-SD card reader as external video ports. I am not using that functionality at this time. This seems to be a quality dock/hub as it was in the sun and got hot and still worked just fine. It come with 3 USB 3.0 , 1 USB 2.0 ports, two HDMI ports a VGA port and an ethernet port, as well as the SD and micro-SD card slots. The cord plugs into a USB C port on your computer. It is working well for me right now. If it fails, I will modify this review with that information when it happens. So far, I am very happy. It is low profile and looks good.

This USB hub works well for my needs. I am primarily using it for the Ethernet adapter, USB ports for a mouse and keyboard, and HDMI port for a monitor. All of these work. I also used it with a security key successfully. One issue is that the hub can increase in temperature when using Ethernet. I am not sure it should be that warm constantly, but it has currently not been an issue.

Bought this little gadget to travel with as its lightweight and doesn’t take up too much room in the laptop bag. Great reliable piece of kit. It was definitely worth spending the few extra pounds to buy this item. I’ve bought cheaper types and they haven’t lasted a few weeks. You won’t be disappointed with this item.

It mostly works. First, my Macbook air will call not boot up with this plugged into the power port and the power supply plugged into the hub. If I unplug it and wait, I can plug the hub back in and it works fine. Other thing to know is that this hub gets quite warm when using HDMI and other USB items.UPDATE 8/30 – The seller was quick to respond to my concerns and offered a fair and helpful solution. This product continues to work. I have just watch how many drives, monitors I connect to it. Thank you.

I’ve been using this dock for a little over a week now and it has been fantastic. It has plenty of output ports, probably more than you actually need! I currently have two monitors hooked up through HDMI cables without any issues – it was plug and play.Dock is small and lightweight, so you can take it with you if you’re currently working between home and the office.Only minor comment I would make is the cable from the dock to connect to your laptop is perhaps on the short side, it could have done with twice the length, but this is a very minor comment.All in and all a great dock and value for money.

Great little hub, works perfectly and easily with 2018 ipad pro 12.9. After trying a couple of USB c hubs that should work with an ipad pro but didn’t I’m very happy I found this one, perfect!
