Bought this for my niece who could not use the keyboard and mouse for gaming. It was easier to use a remote and this one did very well for her. She’s 6 yrs old and able to maneuver the joystick and toggles quite well. Set up is easy with the usb and have no problems.

It works out of the box on Windows 10, just plug it in and it magically shows up without having to download or configure anything. For people reporting disconnection issues, it’s because you’re probably running your wireless internet at 2.4 GHZ which is the same frequency this controller uses. You should have an option to connect to your router at 5 GHZ. Click the internet icon at lower right in Windows and change it to that and it’ll stop disconnecting.

Works well with my generic android tv box. Will purchase again when I need more. Didn’t rate the battery life because I only play retro games on occasions when I’m bored.

Perfect! Someone wrote that “up is down and left is right”, and that the “controllers were impossible to use” that was NOT my experience at all.. They work great. Needed 2 AA Batteries and worked right away after connecting the usb.

If you are into emulators and retro games, these will get you going right away. They send signals like xbox controllers, which are automatically recognized by windows machines with no drivers or programming required, Linux box also worked first time (we don’t do fruit, so can’t vouch for them). I will note that the battery covers on the back come off sometimes if the controller is put down a little too forcefully or shaken, so they are not exactly little-kid-proof. Battery consumption is not bad at all, we get many hours of gameplay between changes. We have had two for a little over a year, gave one to a friend and bought a replacement.

Works fantastic with a android tv box, and very simple to use and setup with emulators.

(Batteries not included) Requires 2 AA. It is not rechargable — reminds me of a simpler time. More Reliable.Works GREAT with a Raspberry Pi (RetroPie image).
Robert Frazier –
Its inexpensive, it works well with Ori, MAME and platform games. I am happy with this product.it even turns itself off after 5 minutes of no use to conserve battery (hit MODE to wake).

I bought this controller as I had owned this exact model about 2 years ago and I loved how it “simply worked” when you plugged the USB adapter into a device. I remembered that I didn’t even have to configure it for most games. It just worked. It ends up that this is NOT the same controller I owned before. It is actually much better. It automatically sleeps when a button is not pressed for about a 2 minute span and uses no power at all. A simple press of any button wakes it right back up. I have never turned the controller off even tho it has a power switch, cuz I don’t have to.

Purchased this because I like the way the old PS controllers felt in my hands. I was a bit hesitant because it’s cheaper than most other wireless controllers but it’s been working well. Windows immediately recognized it as an XBox controller. Works great in Steam and SteamLink using a Raspberry PI.
