I’m bedridden, so I have some hobbies to keep me occupied, one of which is video games which I play on my laptop. My last PC controller had an xbox feel to it – didn’t like the placement of the joysticks with my small hands and the way the arrow keys functioned. This one is great, it worked right away as soon as I plugged it in I’ve been using it for weeks no issue (knock on wood). Feels nice in my hands, would be good for other petite gamers. The arrow keys are more individual buttons then on a wheel like an xbox controller, which I prefer because it’s harder on my left hand with my cerebral palsy to use the wheel kind without going in the wrong direction.Works well with emulators. Haven’t tried on Steam yet but I don’t see it being an issue. It’s pretty durable I think, I’ve dropped it off my bed a few times (granted, on carpet) and it hasn’t broken, even when it fell off my nightstand into my trashcan when I fell trying to get up.For those of you who grew up playing Playstation, I think you’ll like the way this controls, feels and looks. Very similar. If you’re debating between pc controllers and like this shape better than others, I’d say give this one a try.

When I was searching for a controller for my newly built Linux based gaming PC, I became confused about weather a game was ZD-V+ compatible or not. It took me a long time to find out that this esoteric designation doesn’t really matter for most games. But to find out, I had to order this controller and give a try because all the information I could find was vague and unhelpful. So I got it and the first game I tried was Rise of the Tomb Raider. It works fine. In fact, it’s my preferred way to play any Tomb Raider type game. But it also works with other game including all my FPS games. Now, I don’t play FPS games with a controller, but I wanted to try everything with this controller and I’ve come to the conclusion the ZD_V+ doesn’t really mean anything for the average gamer. This controller works with every game I have in steam and all my other games. The only reason most people might not like it would be because they don’t like how it feels. I like how it feels. It’s not too heavy. The vibration isn’t too strong. The cable is a little short, but that’s fine when you’re plugging into the front side USB connectors anyway.I recommend this one.

Kinda like an NVidia presentation… the ZD-V controller… well… it… “Just Works”.My son is playing PC games on Steam, he loves fighting games like Dragonball Xenoverse 2 and Mortal Kombat (on a Win7 PC)… we first picked up a SQDeal USB Dual Shock Joystick Gamepad, becasuse it was only $10… well, we got what we paid for… junk that didn’t work at all… very disappointed. We then got this ZD-V controller… right out of the box, plugged it in, no drivers, and it was up and running and gaming on my son’s favorite games without having to do anything special at all. My son’s happy, which makes me happy, and I now use the SQDeal Gamepad as a paperweight and doorstop… about the only thing that is good for.I highly recommend the ZD-V controller… it just works!

Let me list positive and and negatives first. Then I’ll go into detailPositives: despite the lower price, this controller is great quality. It came in an aesthetically pleasing box. And used foam to keep it safe during shipping. Plug and play. The size is good. Fits just right into my hands. Comfortable analogs. And feels well made.Negatives. It takes some getting used to not having pressurized triggers. It uses click triggers instead of the common pressured triggars. The LED light in the middle is annoying in a darkened room. (Just taped over it with some cut duct tape)Neutral(not good or bad) cord length is what you expect for a pc based product. It is about half as long as a xbox 360 cord. So if you are looking for something for console. This may not be for you. I’m using it for laptop/pc so cord length is not something I care about. Now for a detailed review. This controller preforms and feels just as mainstream and name brand as sony duelshock and Microsoft xbox controllers. As with any controller just plug it in and drivers will install.Let me start off by saying that I came to this controller because duelshock Sony controller analogs always became loose after use. And Microsoft xbox controller analogs squwaked all the time. (And Microsoft analogs use rubber which can make your fingertips feel uncomfortable with constant rubbing) I have not had any of the issues listed with this controller. It came in perfect condition. As I said it takes getting used to the trigger buttons because they are essentially the same as “bumper” buttons.None of my buttons stick or get stuck, and they all work fine. The controller does not have rubber grips, which makes it a bonus to me because rubber tends to wear and eventually feel rough on the skin. The controller seems as durable as name brand console controllers, I’ve never abused my electronics so I’m not an expert.( I wouldn’t go throwing it at the floor or walls)The plastic does not seem cheap at all. It definitely doesn’t feel like some crappy third partY knockoff you would expect for a low price like this.I’ve had no connection issues at all. Through and through I feel this controller is definitely worth getting if you’re sick of Microsoft or Sony extorting your money for less than satisfactory quality work.

As a PC gamer I do use a controller for some games. The one I had finally quit working. I bought this one as a replacement and I have to say that for the price it is well worth the money. The keys on mine all work without being sticky. The weight of the controller is about perfect. Feels good in my hand. The quality of construction is good. As a left handed person I use a combination of keyboard, mouse, Z board Fang and a controller. I rely on using my left hand for the mouse and my right hand on the Fang. Then i use the keyboard as needed also and the controller for steering in games that require driving. The complaints for the USB cord being rather short are almost funny as you can buy USB extension cords for less than 6 dollars. And people complaining about how tough the keys are to depress is laughable. This controller is reasonably priced and functions better than expected for the price point.

This controller was bought to play the emulators/ROMS on my Surface Pro. It weighs slightly lighter than the PS3/4 controller, and has a very smooth feel (as oppose to the rugged plastic to some of the other PS controllers). However, the construction and feel is well worth the price. It does not feel like cheap plastic and has resisted crushing damage (it has been tightly packed with other things and tossed around inadvertently). The buttons, including the analog sticks, are very responsive and fast. I have already recommended this to others and will buy this exact controller again if I need another. It was recognized immediately on my Windows 10.The shiny plastic kind of leaves fingerprints, but it does not take away from the functions of the controller or gameplay at all.Pros: Cheap, durable, responsive, long cable.Cons: None that affects gameplay, but smudges are fingerprints are noticeable.Overall, very good controller. I highly recommend it.

I am very happy with my purchase. Very easily figured it out, plug and go. I am a life-long Asteroids player and this is why i purchased this, I wanted to play it on my laptop. Great price, super fast delivery and I am quite satisfied with my purchase. I do want to say to potential buyers that this seller carries the controller that works with Windows 10 as well as being backward compatible. Many of the controllers to choose from don’t work with Windows 10, so buyer beware. Buy this controller and enjoy your games.

I just received this item couple hours ago and start playing right away. My opinion is this gamepad is way better than similar logitech gamepad F310. Especially, for the fighting game like Mortal Kombat The D-pad design helps a lot to press right directions and execute the desired combos :D.I use the latest Win.10 and I tested the gamepad on steam MKXL. You just plug and play don’t need to install any application. Additionally it is a little heavier than logitech F310 but it isn’t something you will complain in the contrary you will love the weight it is just right. When I first start to play the buttons were little stiff but after couple of games it finds its place. Please let me know if you have any questions, before you purchase this item. Thanks,

Warning: Pressing SELECT/BACK and L3/Left Joystick at the same time will swap the D-pad and left joystick around, so if you play an old game that never came out when analog sticks were invented, you can press SEL + L3 to use the joystick instead.Product:-5 feet long USB cable, way shorter than other cables I use, but still good. You might want a USB to USB extension if you need to sit further away.-The shoulder buttons are on a sharp corner, not sharp enough to cut your skin, but it feels odd to fold my finger over a 90-degree corner to press R1/L1. It’s not an issue, but it’s so different, since other controllers I used before had round corners.Final thoughts:Way better than Logitech F310 controllers, since their left joystick is always random where it doesn’t move in a perfect circle. I even dismantled previous controllers and saw the metal was more like a rounded square, but the ZD-V controller is so smooth with the joysticks and way easier to press L3 or R3, that I definitely prefer this controller or other USB controllers I’ve tried before. Easy to use, since it’s plug and play. If you use steam, don’t forget to select the xbox360 option for the button config to match the ABXY buttons. I was always a Playstation guy, so I prefer calling them Square, X, Triangle, O anyway (I’m like the button translator when it comes to cross-platform games for PC/PS4/XBOX players).

I gave 5 stars because the price was very reasonable, the remote is decent for the price, and for most games this remote works just fine. The only problem I had is somewhat minor, and would be unfair not to give 5 stars because of. The minor issue I had was that the four button directional control on the left is not actually four separate buttons. It’s one piece of plastic. So when you touch one of the buttons, the others move a bit too. Most of the time this probably doesn’t matter. But I happen to have used it so my 3 year old son could play an emulated Atari car racing game on the pc. And with this particular game, pressing the backwards button, even if it’s only lightly pressed, causes the car to stop as though you hit the brakes. So trying to steer the car up or down causes the car to stop. If you look carefully, you can actually see the backwards button being pressed, no matter how careful you are to press only the down button. Still, I’m sure there are many games that this remote would work well with, and cause no problems.
